Szymanowski - Elgar

3rd Chamber Concert
In the third edition of the Chamber Concerts, Sonja Lampert and Silvia Vassallo Paleologo present late romantic works for violin and piano: Karol Szymanowski's Violin Sonata op. 9 is a work from the Polish composer's student days which does not hide his great idols Johannes Brahms and César Franck. Full of passion and late romantic esprit is also the Violin Sonata op. 82 written by Edward Elgar, which completes the chamber concert matinee.
