The DanceXperiment series is setting off on its next expeditions, once again in the rehearsal space of the new building, which, with its intimate atmosphere and proximity to the audience, offers a special setting for these creative evenings.
Whether as an improvisation evening with live musicians or as a choreographic workshop designed by the dancers, every DanceXperiment expedition is always new, always different.
In the choreographic workshops, which bear the nickname Homegrown, meaning “home-grown” or, in this case, “self-created”, dancers present their own choreographic works and thus their individual artistic visions. The shift to the role of choreographer brings with it many new tasks: from developing a concept and choreography to setting the lighting and selecting costumes, makeup, and music. The program features solos, duets, and group pieces. And so the audience has the opportunity to get to know the dancers from a new perspective, and perhaps on one of these evenings, they will witness the beginnings of a new choreographic talent.
